A finish upgrade, not a spec upgrade

G5 Lite SE is not a spec upgrade over the standard Caliburn G5 Lite, whatever the "SE" name might suggest. Battery, wattage, draw activation, adjustable airflow and the included GPP pods are all identical. The only change is the finish: eight leather-textured colourways in place of the standard kit's gloss colours, at £8.99 against £7.99.

Set that expectation plainly with staff and customers. A £1 premium for a leather texture is a reasonable upsell on its own terms, but it reads badly if a customer assumes SE means a bigger battery or extra features and finds out otherwise after buying.

  • Identical battery, wattage, airflow and pods to the standard G5 Lite
  • Eight leather-textured finishes instead of the standard gloss colourways
  • A £1 premium for finish alone, not for extra features
  • Same GPP pod as both G5 Lite and the flagship G4 Pro

Why the price gap is entirely cosmetic

Selling this correctly means being upfront that the SE badge covers the body finish only. A customer choosing between the two kits should decide on look and grip preference, not on any functional difference, because there isn't one. The leather texture does add a genuine grip improvement over the standard gloss finish, which is a fair reason to recommend it, just not the only reason a shop should imply.

Both kits take the same GPP pod, and that pod also fits the flagship G4 Pro, so stocking all three kits together still means managing just one cartridge line behind them.

Who picks SE over the standard kit

Customers who prefer a textured grip or simply like the leather-effect colourways better than the standard gloss finish. It is not the kit to recommend for anyone expecting more performance for their extra pound. The Uwell brand page and refillable vape pods category cover the wider range this kit sits within. Age-verified trade throughout.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite SE sold at wholesale?
As single units at £8.99 each, one order line per colourway, across 8 leather-textured finishes.
What does SE actually change versus the standard G5 Lite?
Only the body finish, leather-textured colourways instead of standard gloss colours. Battery, wattage, airflow and pods are identical.
Does the SE use the same pod as the standard kit?
Yes, the same GPP cartridge, which also fits the flagship G4 Pro. One pod line covers all three kits.
Should a shop describe SE as an upgrade?
Only in terms of finish and grip. Avoid implying extra performance for the £1 premium, since there is none.
